VISIT TO K9 Dog Rescue Group, Mandurah, WA

Visit to K9 Rescue Group

Bradley arranged another visit to K9 Rescue Group about 1 hour drive from Malaga. This is a different concept of dog shelter. It is privately run by a group of local people on a private 5 acre land. They rescue dogs from the pound that are to be destroyed and find new homes for them. The dogs are well cared in term of food, medical treatment and generous running yard and comfortable homes. There are about 50 dogs at the time of visit (16 September 2009). They rely on constant support of volunteers, donations from companies, individuals, adoption fees and fundraising. They do not have any paid staff.
