SPCA Kota Kinabalu News

:. Woman's action praised

I refer to the report on Kepayan stray dogs (DE June 26).

What the lady did was in line with SPCA KK vision and mission, i.e. to promote awareness on the importance of Responsible Pet Ownership (RPO) and spaying/neutering domesticated animals. The sooner people realize this the better our surrounding will be. SPCA KK would like to record its appreciation to the lady who saved the black dog and gave him a chance of better life it deserves. SPCA KK is doing its level best to help minimize the stray problems and in discussions with the relevant authorities. SPCA KK appeal to the public to play their positive role by being responsible to their pets and avoid unwanted breeding.
