As per my report dated 20 January 2009, my objectives for Jake are to:

1.1. Vaccinate
1.2. Castrate
1.3. Find a loving home

I have achieved objective 1.1. on a house call basis. Objective 1.2. was achieved on Sunday 26 April 2009 at 10.00 am: I took him to SAMC for castration. His operation was done on Monday 27 April 2009 at 5.45 pm. I took Jake back to where he lives on Tuesday 28 April 2009 at 10.30 am. He was scared when put in the car! I guess that was the first time he was ever taken for a short drive but sat quietly and looked outside the windows wondering where was he going and what life holds for him!

Jake was also medically checked and found free from heartworm disease. Worm control jab was given on 26 April 2009. He weighed 21.9 kg.

I hope to achieve objective 1.3 soon if life could be better for him having a permanent master and condusive environment. In the mean time I continue to provide him with food and water daily as well as the tender loving care (TLC) he craves.
